    The Spirit Specialist is extremely proud to be partnering with The English Whisky Company and the Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts' Club - the International Club for Rolls-Royce and Bentley Enthusiasts.

    Samples from six different casks were tasted by the Directors of the Club earlier this year in order to select the specific bottling. In the case of the chosen cask, new make spirit was filled into a 200L ex-Bourbon cask from Jim Beam on 31st July 2014, before being disgorged on 6th November 2018 to be transferred into another barrel that had been seasoned with Pedro Ximenez Sherry to add further rich and fruity flavours. It was disgorged in November of this year for bottling (making it a 7 year old) and there are only 270 bottles in existence.

    The official tasting notes are:

    Nose: Fruity leathery notes. Dried fruits and sweet chocolate. Raisins and Christmas pudding.

    Palate: Oily, rich and sweet. Soft and fruity. Plain chocolate and light citrus notes. However, the dried fruits come through with subtle notes of cinnamon and nutmeg.

    To ensure sales are taken by Club Members only, bottles are not available to purchase on this webpage. It is requested that all Members provide Ben at The Spirit Specialist with your Membership number to confirm your membership status - please do this via email - ben@spiritspecialist.com, telephone - 07398 729922 or via messaging on Facebook or Instagram. When Membership is confirmed, you will be contacted with a URL link to a private product page where you can then purchase your bottle. You will also be provided with a one-time-only promo code which will discount the price shown on the page, which has been inflated to prevent non-Members from purchasing it should they happen on it.

    Shipping costs £5.99 per bottle within the UK, shipping across Europe is available but may be impacted by current issues with transportation and Brexit papework. As such the cost for European shipping will be confirmed once an address is provided and delivery companies have been contacted.

  • Delivery & Returns

    Delivery charges:

    Shipping rates are based on WEIGHT of goods - the total weight of your order will determine the cost of the shipping charge due to price banding imposed by the carriers we use.

    Please note due to our opening times goods ordered on a Saturday may result in a delayed arrival. Goods ordered on a Sunday or Monday will be shipped from the store on the Tuesday immediately following - please bear this in mind if you have a deadline.

    DUE TO ONGOING ISSUES WITH BREXIT AND COURIERS UNFORTUNATELY WE ARE CURRENTLY UNABLE TO SHIP OUTSIDE OF THE UK

    48 Hour Delivery uses the Tracked 48 service from Royal Mail, which provides a Tracking Number for you to follow its journey to your destination.

    Next Day Delivery uses DHL services, a tracking number will also be supplied to allow you to follow its journey.

    All products are securely packaged in Air-Shock bottle bags or excessive amount of bubble wrap for additional protection.

    All goods must be examined at the time of delivery and any damages or shortage must be recorded on the relevant delivery acceptance forms with the delivery. Un-examined or un-checked goods that result in a subsequent claim outside of a 48 hour period will not be accepted. Queries relating to claims must be made within 48 hours of receiving the goods, otherwise claims cannot be guaranteed.

    RETURNS / EXCHANGES POLICY

    The Spirit Specialist offers EXCHANGES ONLY on unwanted items to an equal amount. Refunds will not be given, cash differences in favour of the purchaser in the case of an exchange will also not be provided.
