Until around 2012, Noah's Mill, along with the other 6 standard batched labels produced by Kentucky Bourbon Distillers (aka KDB, aka Willett), was made of a blend of various sourced bourbons. The likely source of a majority of the bourbon came from the Bernheim Distillery in Louisville. It also carried with it a 12 year age statement for a small time, likely ceasing around 2006. The brand is now produced using WIllett's own stock, and if you can it's very interesting to try a 'modern' release side-by-side with an older sourced bottling. Willett wanted to create differences between each core label that they made so they created four distinct bourbon mash bills - while it's not explcitily stated, evidence points to Noah's Mill utilising one of 2 high-corn recipe - same as it's 'younger brother' Rowan's Creek, which has a lower ABV at 50.05%.
This is a seriously good Bourbon, with an immense amount going on, all supported by the weighty ABV. Dark chocolate, mint, peppercorns, dark caramel, vanilla cream, soft buttery oak - the list goes on and on. This is first and foremost a sipping whiskey of the highest order, and while it would be decadent to use in a Manhattan it would sadly be doing the whiskey a disservice.

Shipping rates are based on WEIGHT of goods - the total weight of your order will determine the cost of the shipping charge due to price banding imposed by Royal Mail. Orders weighing up to a max of 2kg will be charged £5.99, and orders weighing over 2kg will be charged £7.99. ANY PURCHASE OVER £150 WILL RECEIVE FREE SHIPPING.
PLEASE NOTE: The Spirit Specialist is CLOSED on Sundays and Mondays - all orders are collected by Royal Mail the day after they are packaged up. As such, if you place an order on a Saturday, Sunday or Monday, your order will be packaged up on the following Tuesday at re-opening, and then collected by Royal Mail on the Wednesday morning. All orders are sent on a Tracked service with Royal Mail, which provides a Tracking Number for you to follow its journey to your destination.

All products are securely packaged in Air-Shock bottle bags or frankly excessive amounts of bubble wrap for additional protection.
All goods must be examined at the time of delivery and any damages or shortage must be recorded on the relevant delivery acceptance forms with the delivery. Un-examined or un-checked goods that result in a subsequent claim outside of a 48 hour period will not be accepted. Queries relating to claims must be made within 48 hours of receiving the goods, otherwise claims cannot be guaranteed.
