Co-founded and spearheaded by actor and musician Kiefer Sutherland - star of '24', 'Young Guns' and 'The Lost Boys' - Red Bank is a brand new Candian whisky produced in Nova Scotia that aims to overcome the negative reputation the country seems to garner, mainly thanks to the likes of Canadian Club and Crown Royal.
A marriage of Canadian corn, wheat and rye, this starts off with a wonderfully fresh nose of grain and ripe orange peel, which continues through onto the palate. The citrus notes are bright and clean, with warm soft spice on the finish to ensure it doesn't die off.
'Celebrity brands' are always a concern, but it's been very satisfying to see Kiefer has been fully involved from start to finish and has even sold the brand in person over here in the UK. It's a similar situation with Dan Aykroyd and Crystal Head Vodka, where in both cases the passion of the person involved has ensured fantastic quality.
I can;t wait to see how Red Bank evolves over time - Kiefer has already said he will not be venturing into flavoured whiskies, but I'd love to see a higher strength version or possibly some cask finish releases!

Shipping rates are based on WEIGHT of goods - the total weight of your order will determine the cost of the shipping charge due to price banding imposed by Royal Mail. Orders weighing up to a max of 2kg will be charged £5.99, and orders weighing over 2kg will be charged £7.99. ANY PURCHASE OVER £150 WILL RECEIVE FREE SHIPPING.
PLEASE NOTE: The Spirit Specialist is CLOSED on Sundays and Mondays - all orders are collected by Royal Mail the day after they are packaged up. As such, if you place an order on a Saturday, Sunday or Monday, your order will be packaged up on the following Tuesday at re-opening, and then collected by Royal Mail on the Wednesday morning. PLEASE BEAR THIS IN MIND IF YOU ARE WORKING TO A DEADLINE!

All orders are sent on a Tracked service with Royal Mail, which provides a Tracking Number for you to follow its journey to your destination.

All products are securely packaged in Air-Shock bottle bags or frankly excessive amounts of bubble wrap for additional protection.
All goods must be examined at the time of delivery and any damages or shortage must be recorded on the relevant delivery acceptance forms with the delivery. Un-examined or un-checked goods that result in a subsequent claim outside of a 48 hour period will not be accepted. Queries relating to claims must be made within 48 hours of receiving the goods, otherwise claims cannot be guaranteed.
