First released in 2018 and relaunched in 2020, Redwood Empire is a branding of whiskies from the Graton DIstillery, based in Sonoma County, California.
The Redwood Empire itself is a swathe of Californian land stretching from San Francisco to the Oregon border that is home to indigenous trees which includes some of the tallest on Earth. Indeed, the three releases within the range are named after specific trees within the empire who have stories of their own to tell. In this case, The Lost Monarch is the world largest coastal Redwood by volume, with a height of 321 feet and a diameter of 26 feet. That's a BIG tree.
This is a blending of 40% Pipe Dream Bourbon and 60% Emerald Giant Rye - the marriage really does bring out the best of both fanastic whiskies into something almost even better, with incredible complexity of sweet, spice and heat. It's a stunning sipper but is also a gamechanger for the likes of a Manhattan, where the rich spicy notes complement a great vermouth beautifully.

Shipping rates are based on WEIGHT of goods - the total weight of your order will determine the cost of the shipping charge due to price banding imposed by Royal Mail. Orders weighing up to a max of 2kg will be charged £5.99, and orders weighing over 2kg will be charged £7.99. ANY PURCHASE OVER £150 WILL RECEIVE FREE SHIPPING.
PLEASE NOTE: The Spirit Specialist is CLOSED on Sundays and Mondays - all orders are collected by Royal Mail the day after they are packaged up. As such, if you place an order on a Saturday, Sunday or Monday, your order will be packaged up on the following Tuesday at re-opening, and then collected by Royal Mail on the Wednesday morning. PLEASE BEAR THIS IN MIND IF YOU ARE WORKING TO A DEADLINE!

All orders are sent on a Tracked service with Royal Mail, which provides a Tracking Number for you to follow its journey to your destination.

All products are securely packaged in Air-Shock bottle bags or frankly excessive amounts of bubble wrap for additional protection.
All goods must be examined at the time of delivery and any damages or shortage must be recorded on the relevant delivery acceptance forms with the delivery. Un-examined or un-checked goods that result in a subsequent claim outside of a 48 hour period will not be accepted. Queries relating to claims must be made within 48 hours of receiving the goods, otherwise claims cannot be guaranteed.
